Chris is a passionate hobbyist who has turned his love and respect for massage into a career, assisting others and providing the best health care and support he can. Trained in several modalities, he can offer a range of massage from gently relaxing to slow deep-tissue including: trigger point therapy, athletic/sports treatment, and Motor Vehicle Accident treatment (Hot Stone Massage and Cupping soon available). Chris keeps an open line of communication at all times; those on the table should feel encouraged to discuss any questions or curiosities about the work as it comes up so that you, the client, feel aware of all that is going on. Abril is a smart, authentic, sassy gal who lives her happiness in such a big way that you can’t help but leave her classes feeling refreshed. She has been practicing yoga since 1998, completing her RYT 200 hour certification in 2014 though the Samarya Center for Humankind(ness).
You can find Abril teaching Samarya Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. She loves to work with students whose needs are not met by traditional yoga studios. Abril has studied under many wonderful teachers including Molly Lannon Kenny, EB Ferdig, Julie McCoy Cox, and Sundaari SitaRam.
Kara (our founder and CEO) is a certified Integrative Movement Therapy Practitioner and Yoga Instructor. Kara began gymnastics at the age of two and hasn't stopped moving since. She has been teaching fitness for over sixteen years. She is passionate about health, her family, and the outdoors. Kara specializes in individualized attention and guiding students towards physical changes that make daily living more enjoyable.
Amber found Yoga over 10 years ago during a difficult time in her life where she was desperately seeking more peace, balance, and self love. She started experiencing huge breakthroughs in her mental and spiritual self along with kind loving support from the students and teachers and became deeply passionate about wanting to share that same kind of Peace and Kindness with everyone.
In 2014 Amber received her 225hr HYI training in Arizona.
Her classes focus on intention setting, breathing, slow movement, and deep stretching.
Amber's goal is to help others experience self love and deep peace and rest for the mind, body, and soul.
